These terms and conditions are a part of our reservation agreement with you whether booking directly with Navini Island Resort or via a travel agent/online travel website. Navini may review these terms and conditions from time to time.
Rates are quoted in Fijian dollars and are valid until December 31, 2022. Navini reserves the right to review rates should there be changes in government policies.
Confirmation of booking requires an accommodation deposit as stated. Payment can be made by credit or debit card (Visa or MasterCard), or direct debit. Card payments incur a non-refundable administration fee of 2.5% (except Fiji debit cards). On receipt of payment, a confirmation of booking will be sent, including your booking number. Balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
If it is necessary to change your booking, you are welcome to reschedule to another time within 12 months of the initial arrival date. Requests made within 30 days of your expected arrival will incur a 10% fee of total accommodation costs.
Cancellation, no show and leaving early
Cancellations outside of 60 days prior to arrival will receive 90% refund of payment made. Cancellations 30 to 60 days prior to arrival will receive 50% refund of payment made. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not refundable including no shows, unused nights, flight disruptions or other delays outside of control.
Under extreme conditions, such as a cyclone or severe storm, it may be necessary to postpone or cancel a boat transfer. Alternate arrangements will be made until the transfer is possible. Cancellations or amendments of bookings due to cyclone or other severe natural disaster in Fiji can be requested at that time.
Pandemic, Acts of God and other force majeure events
If not travelling as a result of a deadly pandemic, act of God, government action, national or local emergency, civil commotion, riot, war or other force majeure events beyond control, 100% deposit will be held as a travel credit to be used within 24 months. For refunds, a fee will apply.
Any refunds will be processed within 21 working days of the Resort accepting this obligation. Navini Island Resort reserves the right not to pursue with a refund if any refuting information is provided by the claimant.
Bure layouts and plans
Images and plans as shown on our website or other promotional material may differ slightly to the actual layout.
The rates are inclusive of all people as stated under the bure type. There will be one king bed in Deluxe Premier, which can be split into two singles. Premier have a queen and a single bed. Two Room Bure have a queen bed and up to 3 single beds. Family Villa has a king and a queen bed, as well as up to 4 single beds. On request, a baby cot can be included instead of a single bed in Two Room or Family Villa. No further bedding can be added in any categories.
Children of all ages are welcome here on Navini. Often there are children around school holiday periods and outside of these times most of our guests are couples. Children are accommodated in our Two Room Bures and Family Villa, or 2 adjoining Premier bures if taking both. Parents are personally responsible for their children at all times. Child minding is available for a charge, but we do not have a kid’s club. Children must be accompanied by their parent/s for all boat trips and water activities including swimming. There are no lifeguards. There are special children’s menus available. Children’s dinner is served at 6pm with family dinners at 6.30pm. From 7pm the dining room is for adults (except for Fijian Night) and there are evening activities available for children 5 to 12 years.
Dining room and duty free beverages
The dining room has a licenced bar offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Carry on duty free allowance of spirits and wine can be brought to Navini to enjoy in the privacy of your bure. Any additional alcohol brought in will be removed and returned to you upon check out.
Personal music and tranquillity
For the comfort of all guests, noise is to be kept at a respectful low level. Wear headphones when playing music in public areas. We appreciate your consideration.
Smoking, candles and cooking appliances
All indoor and public areas are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is possible outside, away from other guests. Any type of cooking appliance, as well as burning of candles, fireworks and other open flames, are prohibited.
Due to privacy and safety concerns, the use of remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones) on or above Navini Island are prohibited without prior written authorisation from the Resort and permit from CAAF.
Navini shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.
Pets may not be brought onto the Resort except for guide dogs.
Navini Island Resort Pte Ltd (Navini) strongly recommends that guests take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
All care is taken, however on making a booking it is agreed that Navini shall not be liable and accepts no responsibility for any personal injuries, damages, loss or theft of property incurred during your stay with us and/or whilst participating in any of our activities.
Should Navini make bookings on behalf of guests with third party suppliers for services such as but not limited to transfers, diving and fishing, the Resort is only acting as a booking agent and will not be liable for the services provided by such suppliers, or liable for any damage, injury, theft or loss of any kind.
