A few words form recent visitors
My wife and I absolutely loved Navini so much! We would 100% stay there again and recommend to anyone going to Fiji.
The island is an absolutely incredible place to stay, particularly if you enjoy snorkelling and peace and quiet!
We felt the resort was incredibly good value given staying there covered the transfer cost out to the island and meals and boat trips everyday. Pricing of drinks once on the island are very reasonable also.
Things to be aware of is that this is not a super luxurious resort, but low tech - no air con in rooms, no pool. It is a high-quality no frills resort without unnecessary luxuries.
Vinaka vanakevu to the beautiful staff at Navini for having us on the precious slice of paradise!
My husband and I spent 6 blissful days on Navini this September. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The bures are well appointed, private, and include touches such as a clothesline to dry your wet swimming gear. The food is varied and delicious, and the staff did their best to accommodate my food-related issues. The house reef is a very good snorkel at mid to high tide.
We completely understand why many guests return to Navini year after year, and we would love to do the same!

Trip advisor seems to have the bulk of reviews, so thought I'd leave one here. Navini was absolutely spectacular! This is not a chain luxury report with spas, kids clubs, or even AC, but it's something so much more. Our little family of 3 felt spoilt rotten from beginning to end. The food was fantastic, the daily activities perfect for all abilities, and the bures very comfortable! The island itself has a gorgeous reef, soft sand beaches, and is so peaceful. We rarely (never?) repeat vacations but this will need to be the exception. Don't be put off by the price as it truly does include everything: airport pickup, boat transfers, huge meals, activities, equipment, daily room cleaning, etc. The staff are 10/10 and keep this place running seamlessly. Vinaka, love the Lee family ❤️
I went with my 28 year old daughter and it was a special time in paradise! The staff were warm, welcoming and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Even though it rained on and off, we went snorkeling every day to great sites. We swam in the warm water, walked and sea cycled around the island. Learned "vidi vidi" and enjoyed playing with staff and guests. Menu was varied and food was delicious. Definitely arrange to eat by candlelight by yourselves one night. A unexpected treat was eating family style and meeting wonderful guests. If you are lucky enough to be there when Eddie and Barb are there, you will LOVE them! They are frequent guests and should be on staff. We had to leave at 4:00 am and Eddie got up to send us off! VINAKA LEVU to the Navini team!!!
Navini Island is true paradise. The island is small and secluded and the staff is outstanding. We were there for 5 full days and 3 of those days included complimentary snorkeling trips where the sea life was amazing. The food was included in the price and was absolutely delicious. Simone, the owner, has really made sure her guests have a great experience.
Navini is a wonderful place with genuinely warm, friendly and expert staff.Fantastic excursions within 30 minutes. It is not overpriced and the inclusions are great value.
Personal service on a Pacific island paradise The fact that many of their guests keep returning over years, even decades, says everything about this low key but so welcoming island resort. At maximum occupancy there are 10 bures (chalets) in use and a staff of 24. The key staff know each guest by name – and the guests introduce themselves to each other and so it’s a very sociable place. You need to love the sea as there’s a 30 minute ride to the island on a small motor boat. On the island the main (basically only) activities involve the sea: snorkelling, swimming, kayaking… Or you can read on a sunlounger and take photographs of the sunset. Or you can walk round the island, which takes about 15 minutes! However, there is an organised activity each day – usually a boat trip to a snorkelling place. The food is high quality: you need a good chef to provide 3 meals a day as all accommodation is on a full board basis. If you want an air-con room, more activities and better internet connectivity then you would probably prefer a bigger resort. One more thing I really appreciated: their conscientious following of covid regulations. I would have appreciated a wider double bed. read less
Vinaka Navini !! Thank you Navini for the amazing memories for our first post COVID international holiday. The reef around the island is amazing and we saw turtles, sharks, rays , octopus and plenty of colourful fish and corals. The daily morning snorkelling trips and activities are fun. The bures are modern and the food is fresh and healthy. All dietary requests were accommodated with a smile. Thank you Dumu for the “snorkel adventure” and Simu for the basket and fan weaving lessons. Thank you to all the Navini staff for looking after us on our 7 day trip - Joka, Joyce, Sai,Simu, Dumu, Thomas, Kunal, Ragni, Simone, the housekeeping staff and the chefs. Vinaka Vakalevu and we will be back soon 🙂 xoxo Vaitu and Vera
Truly Paradise Navini was absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay so much we extended. The staff were all so great. Food delicious and fresh. Snorkelling trips were fantastic plus great ‘house’ coral. It’s a beautiful island with lovely bungalows. We will return.
Absolute paradise, can't wait to go back! It was out first trip to Navini, and one we will never forget. The island is naturally incredible with pristine beaches and water, however it is the staff and their high level of customer service that will have me coming back. They couldn't do enough to look after my family and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. The food is also incredible, with a great selection at every meal.
